Q: I don't want to come for a whole week - do you do weekends?
A: We certainly do! We try to be as flexible as possible as we realise that many of our customers will want to combine their stay with us with doing other things. Within reason we will adjust to the dates you have available, and the amount of days you wish to join us is totally up to you.
Q: I like painting but I want to relax too - will it be really hard work?
A: The pace that you work at depeds entirely on you. If you want to take it easy and just do a little sketching, no problem. Equally if you want to take advantage of your stay to produce a serious amount of work we will help you in every way possible to do just that.
Q: What if I don't like the tutors' work - will they expect me to work in their style?
A: Absolutely not! Although in an ideal world all our customers would be ardent fans of our painting we realise that is not likely to be the case and won't take offence. Our teaching is all about helping YOU to discover or develop your own way of working - we don't impose any particular style on anyone.
Q: Will there be many other people on the holiday?
A: We are a very small enterprise and we want to keep it that way. The maximum we cater for is six, and there may be fewer.
Q: I am a vegetarian and my partner is lactose intolerant - is that a problem?
A: No, not at all, provided you give us at least a week's notice.
Q: Do I need to bring my own materials?
A: You can if you want to, but if you prefer we can provide them for you, at a small extra cost.
Q: I am coming to Argentina from abroad - can you help me with travel arrangements?
A: We will be happy to help in any way we can. We can meet you at the airport in BsAs and can recommend a hotel in BsAs which is right beside the departure point for the bus to San Rafael. We can make reservations for you required.
Q: I have seen websites that look much slicker and more professional than yours - why should I come to you?
A: Yes, there are other people now offering painting holidays in Argentina and some of them do look great. What we have to offer that is unique, as far as I know, is that we are REAL! Real artists with a passion for painting - and cooking and meeting people. We are not offering a luxury holiday in which you will be whisked through the country in air conditioned splendour - what we do offer is a chance to get to know this very beautiful part of Mendoza and share our delight in its light and colours and warmth.
