San Rafael is easily reached from Buenos Aires. The overnight bus is a practical and straightforward way to get here as it allows for a comfortable night´s sleep before arriving for your first morning´s painting session. There are several companies which offer on-line booking.
The other option is to fly - there is one flight a day to San Rafael itself, and several to the city of Mendoza. The bus journey from Mza takes three hours and there are departures every hour.
