Vicky and Kate are both graduates of Edinburgh College of Art, a long established Scottish institution with an international reputation. They share a love of drawing and colour.
Kate is a practising painter. She moved to San Rafael with her family in 2007 and has had two solo shows since arriving. Her first Argentine exhibition was at the Casa Burgos, a well known cultural centre in San Rafael, and the second was at the Atelier de Valle. She has exhibited widely in the UK. Kate has extensive experienceof teaching adults. For the last eleven years she has tutored for the Open College of the Arts and continues to teach students by email. Last year she ran a weekly course in her studio.
Vicky has lived at La Susana for many years. She and Mike are warm and welcoming hosts with plenty of experience of looking after guests. Vicky has drawn regularly since leaving art college and has recently returned to painting after bringing up her family of rugby playing boys. To see some examples of her work please click here.
